BioRePeel is an advanced, medical-grade TCA peel designed to deeply revitalise the skin with minimal to no downtime. During a BioRePeel treatment your skin will be thoroughly cleansed to remove any impurities or makeup. Your therapist will perform a thorough skin assessment before applying the peel. The BioRePeel is applied to the treatment area and left on the skin for between 5-10 minutes depending on the area being treated. During this time you may feel a warm, tingling/prickling sensation. Results can be seen in one treatment however your skin therapist will generally advise how many treatments will be best for your specific skin concerns. We generally advise 3-4 treatments for best results.
BioRePeel is not suitable for those who have open wounds at treatment site, infections, rosacea, psoriasis or dermatitis in the area to be treated. BioRePeel is not suitable to have while breastfeeding and nursing. Olive and darker skin clients are required to prep their skin on our recommended tyrosinase inhibiting serum for 2-4 weeks prior to having a peel performed.

PRE-CARE INFORMATION
Prior to your BioRePeel with Skin Forum, you must seize using Vitamin A on your skin for a minimum of 7 days.
If your skin type is a Fitzpatrick 4+ you must be using a tyrosinase inhibitor for a minimum of 14 days prior to your peel.
If you suffer from cold sores, we recommend that you take an over-the-counter prophylactic to ensure that no break outs occur post treatment.
Please avoid sun exposure for at least 4 weeks prior. We cannot perform this peel if you have been sunburnt on the treatment area in the previous 14 days.
We cannot perform the treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Please ensure that you are prepped correctly for your treatment or we may not be able to perform your chemical peel on the day. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
Do not use skin care products that contain active ingredients such as AHA’s (Glycolic, Lactic, Malic Acid), BHA’s (Salicylic Acid), Retinol Vit A, Hydroquinone or perfumes and dyes for 7-10 days post treatment. Light, non-occlusive and non-comedogenic/mineral make-up may be applied 24 hours post-procedure.
Regularly apply K Ceutic or Medik8 Ultimate Recovery cream to the treated area for a minimum of 1 week post treatment, this should be done AM, PM and throughout the day as needed to ensure that the skin stays hydrated.
Do not expose the treated area to UV/sunlight for 14 days.
Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, spas, chlorinated pools and excessively hot showers for 48hours as this may exacerbate symptoms.
Avoid spray tanning or self-tanning over the treated area for 7 days.
SIDE EFFECTS
After the procedure the skin may feel warm and have a slight flushed appearance.
In the days following treatment you may experience mild skin shedding.
Do not rub or massage the injected area for the first 24 hours after your appointment. It is also important not to allow any direct pressure on the area such as sleeping on the face or face-down massage, extreme temperature changes, strenuous exercise, exposure to prolonged sunlight, and excessive alcohol use in the 24 hours after treatment.
